Arkadii Arinstein received his MSc degree in Theoretical Physics from Tomsk State University (1977), and PhD degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics (1982) of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Moscow.

He was working at the Semenov Institute for Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow, where received DSc (habilitation) degree in Chemical Physics in 1995. Now he is the Research-Professor Associate at the Technion – IIT.

Arkadii’s research interests include statistical physics of polymers, and non-linear phenomena in disordered systems. Past 5 years his research is related with nanotechnology and devoted to polymer nanofibers.
